"The majority of the people who are going to be buying this card are going to have fairly low-end systems..."

Benchmarks

Considering the majority of the people who are going to be buying this card are going to have fairly low-end systems, I decided to test on both a lower-end celeron 300 (not a) system, and a high-end 500 PIII system. I tested the card against both the Elsa Erazor III (review here) and 3dfx's own V3 3500 TV (review here) to see how well the Voodoo3 3000 PCI did in both of our tests systems, and how well it scaled with the slower CPU's.

Low-end Test System:
Celeron 300 (not a)
Abit BH6 Mainboard
64MB of PC100 Ram
Guillemot Fortissimo sound card
Maxtor 10GB 5400 RPM ATA/33
Windows 98
Voodoo3 1.03.00 Drivers

High-end Test System
Pentium III 500 Katmai
ABIT BH6 440BX mainboard
196MB of PC100 memory
Western Digital 20.5 GIG 7200 RPM ATA/66
Sound Blaster LIVE! V2.1
Windows 98
Voodoo3 1.03.00 Drivers
