"Wiring up your fans to this unit can be somewhat of a challenge."

Wiring up your fans to this unit can be somewhat of a challenge. If your fans' wires are not long enough to reach the unit than you'll need to splice some more wire onto them like I did. It's also a pain trying to install new fans, as you need to remove the whole unit and try to attach the new fans.

Does it work?

If it didn't work, it wouldn't be worth our time to review it now would it? The unit performed quite nicely working up to spec. While under full load, with four mid sized case fans attached running at max setting (red) there were no problems to be found.

I would like to see some more things built into this unit, such as a temperature probe, or maybe even a couple of USB ports for that "easy access" charm. The price $36.99 of at hotmodpc.com seems a little high for this unit, but as always you'll want to check out the competition before buying this unit especially as it doesn't offer anything particularly special.

*UPDATE*
I just received a great tip from Ratchet, one of our forum users, of a way to easily wire your fans to this unit.
