"We never experienced any major stability problems with this board, and overall it performed fairly well."

Performance

We never experienced any major stability problems with this board, and overall it performed fairly well. When feeding all the PCI slots to the brim there were no problems or incompatibilities that would suggest any device conflicts, or power distribution problems. The only area that had major stability problems was Overclocking. While attempting to overclock our ultra-overclockable Celeron 300A, we were not able to get it up to our usual 450MHz, which would suggest that the absence of voltage controls was a major boo-boo on FIC's part.

Verdict

Overall this a reasonably decent board for the value conscious customer who doesn't mind having built in audio and video. The problems with Overclocking prohibit us from recommending this board to anybody who wants to test the limits of their CPU. So, for a cheap second system for the parents or kids, this board can be great, especially if you can find it for under $100.
