Many new units make the game even more interesting with their own advantages and disadvantages. The GDI Power assault armor is a very mobile unit used for offense and defense. Disc throwers are like long range grenadiers that throw explosive disc with their bionic arm. Air fighters like the GDI's ORCA Fighters, and the ORCA Bomber packs a big punch into enemy fighters or bases. The hover vehicle, Hover MRLS, moves quickly over terrain while launching missiles at ground or air units.

Tiberian Sun will use 3D units and terrain to give the game its real time effect. The 3D in Tiberian Sun will not use polygons like most other games use, but use voxels. Voxels are pixels with height, depth, and width. The one problem with voxels are they can not be rendered with 3D accelerators. So the rendering will have to be done with the computer's processors. Tiberian Sun sounds like it will be a great game when it come out with all the new units and real life features.
