On
top of the incredible graphics, and many glider options, there
is yet more. You're probably thinking, what more could they
put in this game to make it even more incredible than it already
is? Well, I can answer that question. There are four modes in
which you do different things. The first mode is free flight.
It's basically what it sounds like. You get to pick what you
want to fly and where you want to fly; the mountains, gorges,
valleys ect. Then you take off at a certain point and fly and
fly and fly. You can do anything you want, there is no objectives,
no races, not even any other flyers, nothing! I would recommend
this as the first thing you do when you get the game, which
I know you will after you read this top of the line preview.
It's a good chance for you to get used to the controls and how
to turn and things like that. Once you get the hang of it, you
can sit back, relax and enjoy the view!
The
next mode is challenge. The challenge mode gives you objectives
to complete and different weather conditions to deal with. One
mission in challenge mode is to fly off a cliff and land in
your backyard for lunch. I'm not to good at this game, but about
100 feet off the cliff I see this yellow thing pass below me.
I ignore it and keep on flying looking for my backyard, which
is virtually impossible because I'm hundreds of feet up in the
air. About five minutes later I realized it, I was supposed
to follow the yellow things, boy did I feel stupid. Anyway,
getting back to challenge mode, you have to contend with Mother
Nature and do your objective. This is for more skilled players,
unlike myself.
