Nvidia FSAA on 5.22 Reference Drivers

"We decided to take a look at Nvidia's form of FSAA, and how well it performs in today's games..."

With the recent leaked release of Nvidia's reference detonator drivers (version 5.22), the ability to enable the much-hyped Full Scene Anti-Aliasing (FSAA) in both D3D and OpenGL is included. We decided to take a look at Nvidia's form of FSAA, and how well it performs in today's games using their recently released pixel pumping giant, the GeForce2 GTS. Now, this set of drivers has NOT been officially released to the public, and are still in beta form, so be sure take this test with a grain of salt.

The test system

AMD Athlon 750 MHz
256MB PC100 SDRAM
FIC SD11 (rev 1.8)
Pioneer 10x DVD-ROM

Aureal SQ2500
Western Digital 7200RPM ATA/66 20GIG HD
Leadtek GeForce2 GTS 32MB DDR (running at AGP 1x)
Nvidia 5.22 Reference Detonator Drivers

Let the games begin.
