"Don't forget to put a thin layer of thermal grease between the CPU and cold plate."

Installation

Once the silicon is dry, you can install the rest of the kit. Start by assembling the rigid back plate, the screws and gasket like this:

Then place the naked CPU over the back plate. I then used one of the pieces of foam to insulate the core of the CPU. The holes in it are hand made to fit the CPU circuit.

You can then install the cold plate, the peltier unit and the gasket that hold all that stuff in place. Then take the whole thing and install it on your Alpha. Don't forget to put a thin layer of thermal grease between the CPU and cold plate, between the cold plate and the peltier and between the peltier and the heatsink. I had one little problem screwing the kit on the Alpha. I realized that the back plate was a little too wide and came in contact with a little chip on the back of the CPU board. I had to do a little dent in the back plate like shown on the next picture.
