The
first thing that comes to mind when the words "mouse bungee"
are uttered is "what will they think of next?" Everglide's
newest product (manufactured by mousebungee.com)
promises to alleviate the aggravation that a corded mouse bestows
upon us day in and day out. Imagine for a second how many times
you've cursed your mouse for getting caught, and costing you
that ever so crucial frag. Well my friends, the mouse bungee
promises to get rid of snarls and snags from your corded mouse
once and for all.
Installation
Installing the mouse bungee is really, really simple. All you
need to do is first straighten part of your mouse cord out (about
the first 10-14 inches or so). Next, there are two handles,
which you must pinch, and slide the mouse cord gently though,
and locking it at the base of the unit.
The
bungee
The mouse bungee comes in a wide variety of colors ranging from
black to blue to purple. A fairly solid design made of solid
plastic is sure to last you quite sometime, that is unless you
plan on beating it with a hammer. Not only targeted at the hardcore
gamer, the mouse bungee may find its way into corporate offices,
and homes everywhere if mousebungee.com has their way.
Does
it work!?
The mouse bungee was designed to prevent snags, and prevent
snags it does. The real question here is do you need it bad
enough to spend $15? Depending on your situation I would say
probably not. It does do a good job of allowing smoother mouse
movement, but it's nothing spectacular.
