Another
feature that stands out is auto synchronization, which essentially
is the process of the monitor adjusting the refresh rate accordingly
to the function being performed. In other words from the moment
you turn on the monitor and the BIOS splash screen to the Windows
9x splash, the refresh rate is adjusting until you finally get
into the Windows GUI where it settles at the proper refresh
rate.
While
the CM761U has many strong points that make it stand out, I'd
like to point out that there was some banding on the right side
of the screen. However, this was only visible when I would change
my desktop wallpaper to the default, green. I tried several
others but it seemed to only appear on a few colors. I tried
resetting the stored settings to factory condition but was no
help as the banding on a small portion of the monitor reappeared.
