"Guillemots GeForce Prophet with its SDR memory is a wonderful card..."

It's for this reason that you might be better off sticking to your current card if you own an Athlon, or at least until their new AGPx4 motherboard chipsets arrive (damn late!). Owners of Pentium2/3 systems should have no problems, not only are there AGPx4 boards out there but they don't have the same issues as the Athlon does. We may re-examine the benchmarks when we receive one of the newer motherboards. Still if you own an Athlon with 700Mhz or more than a Geforce might still be worth it as the processor can push a lot more out of the card even without AGP.

Verdict

Guillemots GeForce Prophet with its SDR memory is a wonderful card, not only is it competitively priced but it's also impressively fast. Easily pushing even the most ferocious competition of the upper TNT2-Ultras into deep submission. Our advice is to buy one, especially if you have a Pentium3 system or a newer Athlon AGPx4 board.

Top quality card that's worth every penny you pay for it.
