From
delay after inevitable delay, Intel's i820 motherboard series
seemed like it would never arrive. Even though the 'B' type
PIII processors (that run on a 133MHz FSB) was released, there
were no real 133 MHz boards to run it on, sure there was the
i810, but no real gamer wanted the built in audio and video.
This is when VIA stepped in and released their 133, and 133A
Mainboard chipsets. Now, top motherboard manufacturer's, Tyan,
Aopen, and FIC are making boards based on these chipsets. The
latest offering from FIC, the KA-11 (based on the 133A chipset)
will go into the ring today.
