"So, what it all comes down to is one simple question; should I spend the $320 to upgrade?"

Overclocking

By using an .18micron manufacturing process the Geforce2 is able to hit much higher core clock speeds than its predecessor. Our particular test unit was able to go as high as 225MHz core speed, and 379MHz memory; it ran perfectly stable in graphic intensive games such as Quake 3: Arena and Ground Control. One nice thing about the Elsa card is that if you happen to overclock it too high, and games crash or your system locks up as a result, the drivers will automatically reset the core and memory clock speeds to their default.

Last Words

So, what it all comes down to is one simple question; should I spend the $300 to upgrade? Well, if you already have a GeForce DDR the simple answer is no. As a general rule of thumb I believe it's always a good idea to skip one generation before you upgrade, as there is always something much better coming down the road every six months. All-in-all Elsa's Gladiac GeForce 2 GTS is a great product, and should definitely be worth considering if you are in the market for a new video card.
