"Remember playing the original Sim City and wishing you could get up close and personal to each of those buildings, parks and lakes?"

Remember playing the original Sim City and wishing you could get up close and personal to each of those buildings, parks and lakes? Well only about five years later you may now be able to. This game has had some crazy hype over the last year or so, promising an engine of such magnitude that few though such an ambitious project could be achieved. A game in which you can move freely around a number of cities, and the level of detail amazingly increases as you zoom in. Small objects like flowers can be zoomed up to and will be made up of polygons, not just simple textures.

These cities are based within the Russian Republic, each with millions of individual inhabitants living and breathing, and will be yours to control. Although they are merely instruments to help you work your way to the top of Russian political hierarchy. To gain the upper hand a number of strategies will be available ranging from simple politics or religion to much more fun criminal tactics. This is easily the game every Sim City fan has been waiting for; with a designer who has worked with the likes of Peter Molyneux on the beginning stretch of Black and White. Expect something epic later this year.
