Now back in the Network click on the Configuration tab, enter a Computer Name for each individual PC, make it simple and short and don’t use spaces! “Fred” like mine is just fine. For the Workgroup Name enter something that is the same on all other PCs, like “net” on my configuration. The Computer Description space is not important, nor is it mandatory, enter whatever you like, I myself, duly entered my PC specs.

Finally leave the Network window by clicking Okay, Windows should start copying various files from the Windows CD and then require a restart, before you click Okay to restart, plug in all the cables from the hub to each computer, make sure it’s inserted firmly, then restart. Now you’re all strapped up to kick some ass on your newly formed LAN.
