Psone actually stands for 'PlayStation One', or so we're told, and no we don't know what the 'One' is supposed to signify either. It's essentially 55% smaller than a normal PlayStation and incorporates a well-sized 5.5" LCD screen that when combined with a battery allows it to be portable.

However unlike PalmTops and the new GameBoy Advanced, this is not something you can fit in your pocket, it's still comparatively bulky. That aside and it's a very clever unit that we expect to help the life of our old friend the Playstation, bringing it one step closer to total portability, but not quite making it.

Again, Psone is ready for launch and expect it around Christmas, another one you'll one to add to the list we assure you.
