Like all of the other Interplay games Messiah was only on show at the big screen video inside the Interplay booth, or so we thought. Whilst walking around we came to the Intel stands and in looking at the games being played we found among them Messiah. Better still it was pluged into some Revelator Glasses.

This was to be the first time I had seen it being played and even joined in a little myself. The actual gameplay is very similar in look to Metal Gear Solid on the PSX, but with stunning graphics, sound and models. It really made you feel you were in a futuristic universe.

It's a typical First/Third Person Shooter, accept the difference is you can take control of almost any character in the game. Like in Reqiuem where you could 'posses' other beings, accept in messiah the entire game revolves around it.
