Star Trek is the oldest space adventure in history, it pre-dates StarWars and was even an insparation for the StarWars film to actually be made. Sadly nobody has yet managed to bring the action from the films onto our screens in anything bar some reasonable but not perfect games. Having played BOTF and SFC I found them both to be good games but also lack a greate deal of gameplay.

It seem's to have finally become clear to Interplay that the Star Trek universe is to vast to make a suitable game covering all elements at once. Instead they have split it up and ST:NW is the newest result. To put it simply, think a 3D C&C like Warzone but with a deeper plot and far greater graphics (like Dark Reign2's).

Interplay didn't actually have the game on show at ECTS, but they did have press release information and a PIMPING video presentation that made the game feel worth playing 10times over. Nobody wanted to comment on the recent problems in the ST:NW and rumours that it might get canned so until we play it I'll show show you another pic!
