"Your CPU generates a lot of heat, and even with a good heatsink hot air can get bundled up in the top of your case."

Your CPU generates a lot of heat, and even with a good heatsink hot air can get bundled up in the top of your case. I have found that a slotcooler, pointed upward has not only lowered my case temperature but also my CPU temperature. I found it to work the most effectively under my AGP slot, cooling my Geforce and blowing cold air upward towards my ram and CPU. The slot cooler used in this guide, is the ever-popular Super Slot Cooler. This is easily obtainable from www.thecardcooler.com. Not only is it powerful, moving air at 42cfm, it is also rather quiet. The unit only produces 26 decibels of noise.

The slot cooler push's air under neither your video card, cooling the chipset and ram, as well as blowing cool air upwards behind the power supply to the CPU and RAM.
